As a member of the Young Marines as a youth for ten years and adult volunteer for the last five years, I evoke the teamwork, leadership and discipline I have learned as those have helped shape me to the person I am today. I evoke the moments where I have helped share the message of having a healthy, drug- free lifestyle within the community and to others wherever paths may cross. Most importantly, I evoke the program for teaching youth the style of becoming dedicated and having self- confidence.

Young Marines has taught me a lot and made me truly find myself and what my strengths and weaknesses are. I credit the Young Marines for my public speaking skills. Being pushed outside of my comfort zone has made me grow beyond my expectations and has given me more confidence to speak not only in front of Young Marines but also larger crowds such as community members and even in front of classmates. Young Marines have taught me how to be responsible and balance my everyday life, whether it be at school, at work, at home or at play. I credit the Young Marines program to my success today. Through our core values of teamwork, leadership, and discipline, I enjoy being a mentor to all I interact with. This program is one of the best for all youth and adults! Join and support the Young Marines!

Our Mission

The core mission of the Young Marines organization is to fundamentally influence the trajectory of America’s future through the delivery of high-caliber developmental programs for both boys and girls. Our programs are meticulously designed to nurture and cultivate a robust set of values, including leadership, teamwork, and personal responsibility, among the youth. These programs not only aim to instill a profound sense of discipline and respect for themselves and others but also encourage a healthy, drug-free lifestyle through educational initiatives and active community involvement.
At the heart of our mission lies the commitment to foster a generation that is well-prepared to meet the challenges of tomorrow with confidence, integrity, and a deep-rooted desire to contribute positively to their communities and the nation at large. By participating in our diverse range of activities, from community service projects to leadership training sessions and outdoor expeditions, our young members gain invaluable experiences that shape their character and broaden their perspectives.

Become an Adult Volunteer

Registered volunteers in the Young Marines are adults aged 18 and up who possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Every volunteer will be background-checked and verified through character references.
